The inaugural ATP Cup will land in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth in January 2020; the new team competition will kickstart the mens tennis season across ten days in the lead up to the Australian Open.

Perths’ RAC Arena will host 8 countries, over 6 days in the Group Stage of the competition – confirmed countries so far include Spain, Japan, Georgia, Russia, Italy and the USA with further teams to be announced.

About the role
In this role you will:

  • Assist with the set-up and pack-up of accreditation offices and systems
  • Process accreditation applications and passes according to accreditation policies as directed by event operations manager
  • Facilitate the collection and distribution of accreditation passes 
  • Assist with the production of training material
  • Lead and motivate a team of accreditation assistants during the ATP Cup event
  • Maintain player and tournament-related confidentiality at all times

 About you
We are looking for a friendly and passionate accreditation supervisor who is interested in being part of the team to deliver this great new event.

  • Previous demonstrated experience coordinating an accreditation function at a major event
  • Experience  leading and motivating a team of volunteers
  • An ability to exercise sound judgment in complex decision-making
  • High level interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain relationships with team members, players, patrons and contractors
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with conflicting tasks
  • Availability and flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
