It is an exciting time at Tennis Australia, we are well underway to deliver the most spectacular summer of tennis in 2020 with the Australian Open and launch of the new ATP Cup.  Additionally we have plans to continue to grow the game of tennis from grassroots through to high performance and we have a world number one…go Ash!   

As part of our appetite for evolution we are partnering with Universal Tennis to introduce the Universal Tennis Ranking (UTR) system to Australia.  The UTR system will open up opportunities for the everyday player to be ranked against the best in the world and bring a new level of innovation to the game.  We are now looking for a UTR Program Manager to introduce the UTR system to the Australia market and lead strategic initiatives to increase tennis participation across the country.   This will initially be a two year fixed term contract role.

About the role

In this role you will;

  • Take responsibility and ownership of the various UTR and Tennis Australia joint initiatives, which includes marketing, communications, sales, media and event duties for TA events
  • Assist in implementing UTR's tools and technology to leading Australian academies and clubs to drive more play and increase participation for their members
  • You will analyse client success and present monthly analytics reports to ensure alignment with UTR’s 90-day implementation / Active Customer plan(s)
  • Serve as primary point of contact in Australia for all UTR education related activities
  • Specifically assist and be an integrated part of TA for the Australian Open and all associated events
  • Provide education and training for internal and external audiences

About you

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Undergraduate college degree with 2+ years of experience in sales, project management and/or account management/customer success environment
  • Familiarity and experience in selling and/or managing SaaS, free, freemium and/or paid products
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to own and complete tasks from ideation to execution to measurement
  • Passion to educate and sell while focused on solutions – resilient and not easily intimidated
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to and interest in learning new skills and grasping new concepts you can apply quickly
  • Ambitious, energetic attitude coupled with strong and diligent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with proven outreach and follow up successes
  • Experience managing accounts within an online Client Relationship Management (CRM - Salesforce) system
  • Ability to document and give feedback from clients to certain UTR team members as well as TA members
  • Prior experience within or around Australian tennis a plus
